Starry Sailing

Join us at the beautiful Goblin and the Grocer Restaurant in Beverly Shores Indiana as we will be painting “Starry Sailing” all together. Bring your friends or come solo to meet new friends!
No experience necessary. We will walk you through every step of the way. We will be using the technique called impasto. This is a very lucid, abstract technique where the paint is laid on an area of the surface thickly, the strokes are visible. When dry, impasto provides an almost oil painting type of texture; the paint appears to be coming out of the canvas. So much fun to do!

The turtle’s association with creation is seen in its ability to move between water and land, representing the duality of life and the interconnectedness of the physical and spiritual realms. The Turtle is the symbol of the World and the Earth, inspiring us to chart our own course with energy and determination. Another of its important symbolic meanings refers to survival, stability, longevity and protection, with its shell always on its back. One of the most popular symbols of good luck is the turtle. Indeed, turtles are often considered a sign of long life and good fortune. In many cultures, turtles are also associated with healing and protection. So if you spot a turtle crossing your path, consider yourself lucky!)
